Peter Wall
.Peter was my oldest and dearest childhood friend. We probably first met when we were bout 5 years old; the start of a lifelong friendship. We lived in Medford Massachusetts in the same neighborhood and attended the same elementary school (Immaculate Conception) and the same high school (Malden Catholic). We finally parted ways when it was time to go to college; Peter to Providence College and me to Boston College.
We shared many memories together. I was with Pete the night he met Maisie, his wife of 62 years. I was an usher in their wedding and he was best-man at my marriage. Pete was godfather to my first child, Tim. And when Pete realized he was about to pass away, he asked me to deliver his eulogy. |
